valerie hennekemper is a sensual artist and provocateur from munich, germany. her work floats in a crossover between painting, drawing, poetry and performance.
she connects the viewer's perception with her own and invites them to see the world through her eyes. hennekemper wants to heal everyone by thematizing topics like feminism, sex positivity, society's weaknesses and nature. her outspoken way of working stands for itself. it asks the viewer to take a closer look. different techniques such as oil, acrylic, charcoal, fineliner and ballpoint pen on different objects are characteristic for her works. through the play with light and shadow, hennekemper creates a peculiar environment which makes her assignment visible.
